Device
First you need a laptop or any device in which you can install Kali Linux. In my case, I am using a Laptop and I have installed Kali Linux on VMware

WiFi Adapter
This step is more important because most of the people will buy wrong adapter which doesn't support monitor mode or its only for 2ghz. So read carefully before buying any WiFi adapter:-
Check if Adapter supports 2GHZ and 5GHZ
Check your adapter here "https://deviwiki.com/wiki/List_of_Wireless_Adapters_That_Support_Monitor_Mode_and_Packet_Injection". This website contains all adapters or their chip model which supports monitor mode and packet injection. So check your adapter chip model here before buying any adapter.
Check Drivers installation of each chip model because for some chip model its really difficult to install drivers every time.
I am using TP Link ac 600 nano which supports monitor mode and 2ghz/5ghz. For this adapter drivers installation is also easy
sudo apt install realtek-rtl88xxau-dkms
How to Check If Adapter supports Monitor mode?
After installing Drivers try these commands

If your wlan0 "Mode:Managed" is changed to "Mode:Monitor", it means it supports monitor mode.
Packet Injection:
Make sure your WiFi adapter is in "Managed" Mode before testing for packet injection
